The Undocking of the "Norwegian Gem" at Meyer Werft is planned for 12 August 2007. It is due to pass up through the River Ems about 16 September 2007

According to this report manouvering to a pier on Sunday. Getting closer to docking in Dover. Latest cruise ship will be unveiled at the weekend

The undocking takes place tomorrow morning all being well. We will see if we can get some pictures.

Undocking of the ship will start around 7.45 a.m. If weather conditions are favourable, the manoeuvre will be finished within a couple of hours.

The world got its first glimpse of Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL)
newest “It” Girl—Norwegian Gem—as she left drydock at Meyer Werft in
Papenburg, Germany on Sunday, August 12. Prior to leaving drydock,
the 93,500-ton ship underwent a series of tests and engine trials, all
of which went smoothly. She will be berthed at the outfitting pier in
Papenburg while outstanding work is completed. The ship is scheduled
to make the River Ems passage to Eemshaven/Netherlands for sea trials
in mid-September.
