Norwegian Dream arrives in Boston, her new homeport today

NCL Corp.’s Norwegian Dream is due to arrive this morning in Boston, its homeport for the 2008 season.

Norwegian Dream is replacing NCL’s smaller Norwegian Majesty, which homeported in Boston for 13 seasons.

The new ship’s inaugural sailings from Massport begin on May 9 with a two-day roundtrip weekend get-away cruise. Weekly sailings to Bermuda will then operate through Aug. 24, and again from late September to late October. In the late August-September interval, Norwegian Dream will sail seven-day New England/Canada cruises.

Boston expects a total of 280,000 passengers in 2008.
