Cool Shore Trips

Hi everyone,

We will be traveling to South America on the NCL Dream, and wonder if anyone has used Shore Trips.com for shore excursions, particularly for Ushuia.

Thanks.

Welcome to the family

I have done this cruise, two years ago on Norwegian Crown.

Although I didn't do the Ushuaia shorex (the weather was not conducive), those who did seemed to really enjoy themselves. I went to the penguin reserve whilst in Punta Arenas and that was excellent The shorex that I did go on were all very good and unlike some, I never felt rushed around or herded, really enjoyed the cruise and the shorex too.

There are a few photos from my trip in this part of the gallery...

http://www.cruisingtalk.com/gallery/...ry.php?cat=647

It is definately a trip for scenery and wildlife...amazing glaciers, pilot whales, seals, penguins....it is a real experience, I am sure you will love the areas that you'll be sailing through. Some of the areas..Patagonic Channel, Darwin Canal...almost prehistoric to look at.

I took one memory card for my digital camera and my laptop to download them each day, along with a 35mm camera and 14 rolls of film...they all got used

The penguins are a delight, wonderful birds

We broke a record on our cruise, NCL Crown (now Olsen Balmoral) was the largest ship to ever get into the inner harbour at Port Stanley...it was also the hottest day on record too.

My review of the itinerary is here...
