I didn't see much of the casino on Crown or Jewel, however they do run a bank of slot machines that are linked with all the other vessels in the fleet and they have a combined payout type thing.. No clue as to how it works or anything like that, but in December the total fleetwide that one person could win was around $50,000.
One note about casino's on NCLA ships, those which were purpose built for NCLA have no casino and those which are 'borrowed' for the Hawaii cruises, close their casino. Also ships travelling through Chilean waters close their casino too. Local legislation reasons.
