Question Ship or Private for Tours ?

When you book your tours and excursions do you book through NCL or do you prefer to do them private?

What is your reasoning behind the way you book tours and excursions?

On my South America cruise, I went with the NCL tours. I chose carefully at home, did my homework in respect to where they were going etc...and of course, value for money. I booked them in advance online. I can honestly say, that they were all very good value for money.

Having listened to other passengers after each day, I only found one shorex that in their minds was not a good one, that being a full day to Punta del Este in Uruguay. Apart from that one, everyone on the ship I spoke to enjoyed the shorex very much.
