I personally find this all absolutely disgraceful. For a company the size of Star Cruises to apparently dupe German authorities and Malaysian authorities into thinking the ship was safe and would be recommissioned is just criminal. Pure and simple.

This should never have happened the way it has, there are consortiums out there who are willing to have her restored and used in various ways and they have the money to back those plans up too.

And now she is beached with apparently no actual permission, not sure what it would take to get her back in the water...they have very very high tides at Alang, so all is not entirely lost, I hope.

She should never have been sent to Alang in the first place, Star Cruises should be ashamed by the way they have behaved IMHO.
