Hi Ally, have you cruised with MSC ,if so ,how did you find them. I see they are starting to cruise out of Dover,Sophia Loren there on April 5th to name their latest ship.
Do you know the single supplement they charge or is it depentent on the cruise.
Swan
I haven't sailed with MSC yet, however their usual single supplement is 80% on the lower grades and 100% on suites largely regardless of itinerary.
My TA was recently on Orchestra and he found her extremely good, although it was an Italian departure so the ship was mainly full of Italian passengers who were a bit of a handful at times.
The Orchestra will be ex Dover in 2010...Lirica is ex Dover in 2009 and 2008 it will be Armonia. So MSC are certainly stepping up their presence in Dover and will be concentrating on Baltic/Scandinavia/Northern Europe cruises from Dover and leaving other ships in the fleet to handle the Mediterranean markets.
