Dani, I read the Cruise Critic article, but I doesn't say where in NJ. If you hear, let me know, as it doesn't seem to be showing up yet in our news.

On the Millennium I-Cafe archives from about 9pm on last evening, it is chaos

Just found it, Monroe Twp.....middle part of NJ

Here is good article on the ongoing crash investigation. According to this article the bus wasn't even registered with the government to transport passengers.

I had wondered about the driver falling asleep. It was a long tour...11 hours or so...to a very high altitude and back ..

Some people get almost hypotized when they drive for long periods of time.

I admit we have always paid the long dollar and booked ship exs. This doesn't mean that we couldn't have an accident ( we have been on some hair raising drives on those tours ) but we always feel that it cuts down on the odds of one.

It is amazing that two of the men only had a broken leg and one a hand. But they lost their wives and friends, they could still face more health problems from the crash and trauma.

The bus must have rolled quite a few times ?

Dani,
Liz posted this link on the Star Princess thread which shows a video report on both the fire and the bus crash involving Millenium passengers
.

Unfortunatly you have to wait for an advert first.

Dreadful news! Didn't make much in the way of news down here (that I read), but does not diminish the tragedy of it all!

Sympathies to friends and family of all involved.
