I have just been studying the archives at celebrity@sea. As far
as I can make out, Millie left her last port Nov. 25th in the evening
and has been crossing the Atlantic until this AM, when she is shown
arriving in Port Everglades about 9AM. She appears to have docked on the
east side in the channel to the container port. About 6:45 (1845), she was
still flying signal flags but the next picture shows them lowered.
By 9:23PM (2123), she appears to have departed, as the lights in the
channel are no longer showing. There is a gap of about 2 1/2 hours in
the pictures, which seems to happen on some US port departures.
According to the itinerary shown on celebrity@sea, she was to depart
today (Dec. 2) for a cruise to nowhere and return Dec. 4.
Here is the location in Port Everglades (FLL)
Cheers

P.s. Cliff's aerial map of FortLauderdale shows where she was yesterday 2nd... the red line arrows pointing to appro 270 degree pins the exact spot where she was. Moving to the left from there, you see the rectangular area where as many as 7 ships can be berthed; as well, on the side where Mille was, two of them can be moored.

Hey, Cliff, thanks for that great position map. That sure rectified my '' right '' vs '' left'' in a hurry....but I had the whole odea generally right.
It's easy to figure out why they can berth 9 ships in one day in there.....,such as 2nd April.
Cheers

The Millie was slowed down due to Tropical Storm Epsilon during her Crossing, therefore she arrived late yesterday in FLL (around 11am) and then departed again around 7pm for her Cruise to Nowhere, which was changed into a 2-Night Bahamas Cruise with that Call in Nassau. This Change with the Call in Nassau has been decided by Celebrity earlier, don't know the reason for it.
She's returning to FLL today and will then start her 7-day cruises to the Eastern Caribben before going to South America soon.
Well, the 2-nighter of the Millie seems to have been not a big hit, of course embarkation was delayed and the Pax were not happy Campers.
After having myself waited 12 hours In Barcelona to board the Brilliance of the Seas this October, this can't shock me much...it was during the famous Fisherman-Blockade...but at least it was for 3 and not only 2 nights as on the Millie...however...
There are loud Rumors out, that the delay of the Millie wasn't only caused by the Tropical Storms, it seems to have again Problems with its Pods. Apparently it's the Starboard Pod, which causes Trouble at the Moment.
Honestly, I hope this isn't true, as this would mean another Nightmare for Pax and Crew of this beautiful Vessel...
Suggestion to Celebrtiy: Get rid of this Nightmare and donate her to me for let's say USD 100...
Anyway, we'll see how the Situation develops, let's hope for the best...
