Default Millenium Cruise

Looking for former cruisers on the Millenium. I will be sailing on December 16th. I have never sailed with Celebrity. I would appreciate any tips or information regarding the ship.

Thanks!

Smile Millenium

Thanks Joey,

I enjoyed reading the reviews. I had read some on other sites that weren't as favorable. I feel better about the condition of the ship and the quality of food.

Default Millenium

Thanks Joey,

I had read reviews that reported the public areas to be in need of repair. There was a reference from a cruiser of the ship going into dry dock last spring for updates. I haven't been able to confirm that report. There were also reports of a sewage smell in some of the cabins.

Several long time celebrity fans reported that the food was not up to standards. I guess you tend to get a little nervous when you start reading some of the negative reports. I've been on several cruises, but never celebrity. I am looking forward to the new adventure!

I appreciate your input.

Beth

Thumbs up

Hi Beth

Yes indeed I can very well see how you, me , or anyone else could get a little apprehensive when you read all the negative comments..
I have found that you have to compare other posts by the same poster in order to gage if they may have ulterior motives for negative comments..
Plus do your own research... I think thats really the best thing... if you hear of a ship in major disrepair, I always like to check the governments green sheet it's the CDC's health and maintenance inspection of each vessel that is done twice a year if I am not mistaken... check it out Its called the Green Sheet

Now Beth, don't get me wrong...I am not saying that a negative comment is always drummed up...after all as long as we deal with other humans ....any reaction or situation or response could occur..
And for us its not so must that they occur... it's more so for us is how well does the cruise line make an effort to fix or correct real problems...

Just an observation...
