Island Cruises has teamed up exclusively with Jongleurs, the UK's number one comedy brand and the world's largest chain of comedy clubs, to bring laughs on board.

Andy Furlong, marketing director, said, 'We are delighted to be launching the first Jongleurs Comedy Club at Sea. Jongleurs represent the absolute best in British comedy and Island Cruises is excited to be bringing their comedians on board the Island Star.’

Having signed a two-year deal with Island Cruises, Jongleurs will be on board the Island Star between May and end September 2008 with comedians performing in the Bounty Club and presenting a headline comedy show in the Ocean Theatre.

Jongleurs will also be running comedy master classes every week where passengers can learn how to write and perform stand-up comedy - with the most promising being invited to share centre stage with one of the comedians before the end of the cruise.
