Default thallassotherapy pool

Hi, looking for some information on this pool in the spa area. I understand it is a pay for daily spa pool. Am interested in the cost per day, or per cruise. Is it in reasonal repair/function? Is it worth it? Have used this type of pool on other ships and am considering the expense for 11 day cruise next month.

Not travelled on Galaxy but was recently on Constellation. There was no charge on there for Thallassotherapy pool, spent many an hour in it whilst on Constellation.

Default pool cost

Just back from March 26/07 Galaxy cruise. Thallasotherapy pool was enjoyed for the 11 day cruise. As not in suite or Captain's Club Elite member cost was $20 per day or $100 for the whole cruise. We each paid the full amount and visited the pool 9 times in the 11 days..was very enjoyable after a day on land, so warm and comforting. The pool area had lounge chairs to relax on after the message of the pool. The steam room was also here and used often by husband. Well worth the $ for us.

Default pool pics

Unfortunately, the pool is very steamy with too much humidity for me to get a picture. Almost as soon as I opened my digital camera the lens fogged up too much to get a picture, I did try. Should have done picture when we saw pool on embarkson day prior to the jets being turned on. The pool is an oversized hot tub with rails formed into lounger along one sidewhere you lay over bubbling heated, chorinated salt water. Opposite side of pool has jets located at various body levels to direct water to specific levels. Hand grips are positions so the strenght of the jets doesn't push you over. Easy access to the pool is by steps on each side. The lounge chairs are at each side of the pool for relaxation after being in the pool. Other than the sound of the water bubbling and the steam the area is very serene. The pool is limited to suit and Elite or above members, with approxiamately 40 able to sign up early in the cruise. This limited the number of people there at any given time 7am to 11pm. There never were more than 8 people when we went (4-6pm)

Cool therapy pool and exercise room

New Years 2006, we sailed from Galveston to Panama and back for 11 days.
The couple that went with us signed up for this, and as a couple the cost was around $ 650 for the entire cruise. Is it worth the money...you be the judge.
Every morning I would meet my friend in the hot tub about 7-7:30, the tub was only hot 2 days for the entire cruise.
