Welcome to our cruising family Didi

Although I have yet to sail with Celebrity, I am fairly sure that you will not be able to take wine onboard for cabin use, however you should be able to do so for evening meal, but there is usually a charge to uncork it at the table.

I am sure there will be others along who can give you exact information though.

Again, welcome to our community and I hope that you enjoy your time here with us and on Galaxy too. What will be your ports of call?

Bonjour didi.....welcome to Cruising Talk.

You are allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine per cabin. If you want to drink it in the dining room, they can charge a $25.00 "corkage fee". There is no charge for drinking it in your cabin.

This is from the Celebrity website:

Does Celebrity charge a corkage fee?
Subject: Food and Beverage
No beer or hard liquor may be brought onboard for consumption. Guests wishing to bring personal wine onboard with them at the beginning of the cruise may do so, limited to two (2) bottles per stateroom, but when consumed in any shipboard restaurant, bar or dining venue, each bottle shall be subject to a corkage fee of $25.00. If a guest receives a bottle of wine (in their stateroom) from a family member of friend, and that bottle(s) was purchased from our Bon Voyage Gift selection, then no corkage fee will apply if they wish to consume the bottle in the dining room or any public area. If a guest receives a bottle from an outside vendor and/or travel agent, and the bottle was not purchased through our Bon Voyage selection, then a $25.00 corkage fee per bottle will apply if they wish to consume the wine in the dining room or any other public area. The fee will be applied to the guest's onboard account. Alcoholic beverages purchased in ports of call or from onboard shops will be stored by the ship and delivered to guest staterooms on the last day of the sailing.

Bon Voyage....have a great cruise!

Hi didi

We truly enjoy Concierge class.. we enjoyed it on the summit and the millennium... .. Unlimited selections on breakfast room service ( we did eggs Benedict every morning...) your steward will deliver it and with linen and set you a lovely table...

Linens available in Concierge class are upgraded fro the normal towels and bath mats from the lower categories of staterooms..

There are numerous other advantages to sailing in Concerige... Celebrities website will give you more information of course..

As far as wine you are allowed to bring two bottles per stateroom with you at no charge (must be at embarkation) as long as you consume them in your stateroom .... opening of wine bottles in public areas requires a 25 dollar US cork-age fee....
Have great cruise!

Joey

Nice rooms with great service on penthouse floor. You can bring your own wine for drinking in room and dining room but you pay coekage in dining room.
