easyCruise supports tourism in Albania

Nektarios Rigas, invited Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha and the Minister for Tourism, Ylli Pango, onboard easyCruiseOne, which is this year including the country on its new 10 night ‘Around the Ionian Sea Cruise’ to Greece and Albania.

On board, guests were treated to performances from local folklore singers and dancers. The Prime Minister was given a guided tour of the ship by easyCruise commercial director, Penny Zaglaridou. While on board he also spoke of his country's intentions to expand the pier in Agio Saranta so that they could welcome more cruise ships to the area.

and about time too Ally! I have been to Albania - for a day. We were on a sailing holiday and we stopped in Greece and took the bus into Albania to meet a friend we had been e-mailing with. It's some years ago, but the place looked unreal, no cars, very quiet. It had been locked for years.
