Port Everglades to host Victoria, QE2 meeting
Quote:
A second Cunard Line ‘royal rendezvous’ is in store for this week when Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth 2 call at Port Everglades on Wednesday.
The visit will be the first by the new Queen Victoria to South Florida.
Both ships can be seen from the south end of Fort Lauderdale Beach, the 17th Street Causeway and John U. Lloyd Beach State Park during daylight hours. They are scheduled to arrive at approximately 5:30 a.m. and depart at 5 p.m.
Queen Victoria and QE2 are on world cruises. They last met Sunday in New York Harbor along with Queen Mary 2.
