 Although not on your cruise, I hope it is enjoyable and that the inevitable 'new ship' teething troubles have been sorted. Is this the crossing that ends up with all 3 Queens together in New York? That would be an incredible sight

It is indeed - QE2 crosses the Atlantic (and from the weather maps it looks like being a rocky ride!) with Queen Victoria alongside, then meets QM2.
It's my first "proper" cruise with Cunard and I'm pleased it's on the QE2 before she goes off to become a hotel in Dubai next year. |

There should be ample photographic opportunities in New York with all ships together...weather permitting.
I went on QE2 when she was almost new...and I was a bit too young to remember....I will definately be sorry to see her go, she is a real ambassador for Britain, the last in the line of great Clydes. I hope she doesn't end up like Queen Mary...or worse...France, United States or Independence
