New gm for Royal Caribbean’s French brand

Nicholas Sharp, former commercial manager for some 12 years at MSC Croisières, has taken the helm at CDF Croisières de France, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s new French brand.

He replaces Brigitte Tissier as gm and will prepare for the introduction of Bleu de France (Pullmantur’s Holiday Dream), which is to start cruising in the Mediterranean in May.

‘I am very happy to bring my know-how to CDF Croisières de France for its launch on the French market. It is a rare opportunity, which we’ll support altogether and which we hope to make a real success,’ Sharp commented.

The 374-cabin Bleu de France will operate 100% French-speaking, all-inclusive cruises from Marseille during the summer, and from the Dominican Republic in winter.

Royal Caribbean announced the new brand five months ago.
