Hello everyone i know this is kinda of late posting but i just found your site and i thought i would share a comment on The Freedom first off let me explain this is our 5th cruise and all have been on Carinval what can i say when you like something why mess with it the ship is awesome very typical Carinval gawdyness but yet homey we sailed from Ft Lauderdale like this port alot 1st time there will sail from there again The Freedom is one of the bigger ships in Carinval's Fleet some people complain about the layout but it is easy to get around once you get the hang of it my wife needs a wheel chair for walking long distance there are people that look at her yes younger people do have disabilty's and there are few rude people on the ship the stops were Key West excellent sunny warm very friendly Grand Cayman rain and storms nice for shopping but expensive Ocho Rios will never go there ever again i do not know why the cruise industry stops here as soon as we exited we had people in the water begging for money we wanted to go sightseeing but the taxi took us to a shopping mall we got out grab another taxi and went back to the ship very unhappy with Jamaica and will not come back you now it's bad when the crew members tell you that don't even get off the boat at that stop unless they have to i must say all in all The Freedom is great we had a great cruise and it is time to plan the next one
