I'm not sure there is much chance of oil going under $70 a barrel anytime soon, never mind staying there for 6 weeks before you cruise.

So if I read that correctly they are removing the fuel supplement but increasing the cruise price instead.
Oil at present still nearly $20 above the limit

Yes, that is the way I read it middy...starting for bookings in 2010, no fuel charge, but higher prices.

As of Oct 31, if the price remains below $70 a barrel, for a total of 6 weeks (5 trading days a week x 25 days PLUS 5 days before you sail), you'll get a refund in the form of an OBC.

Definately raising prices, which is what they should have done to begin with...

http://www.travelmole.com/stories/1132071.php

Advertise the price as per invoice, not the base price with this, that and the other added onto it at invoice.

I'd rather have a guaranteed price at the time of booking rather than them adding surcharges as they go along. At least you know where you stand.

We can hope.....I would be happy if it did ...I'd get a $100 OBC on our next cruise.

Unhappy

Just raise the prices and do away with the ridiculous, annoying surcharges.
