Bleu de France in for refit at Barcelona in March 2008
Pullmantur’s 752 passenger capacity Holiday Dream is to undergo a €30m refurbishment in Barcelona in March 2008 before joining RCI’s new French brand CDF Croisieres de France as Bleu de France.

ALMACO has been chosen as exclusive contractor for the modified food handling areas on Pullmantur’s Holiday Dream which in May will enter service for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s new France-based subsidiary, CDF Croisières de France, as Bleu de France.
ALMACO’s contract includes the turn-key delivery of five food handling areas as well as the refurbishment of existing galley areas. This covers conversion of the Olive Bistro, the extension of the Lido counters, the creation of the new bar Zanzibar, the addition of a service bar and modification of the existing scullery in the main restaurant, as well as the creation of the wine, cognac and cigar bar Millesime.
ALMACO will supply all the stainless steel, decoration, piping and cabling for a turn-key delivery in Barcelona during the spring.
Bleu de France will sail in the Mediterranean from Marseilles and later in the Caribbean from the Dominican Republic port of La Romana in the winter 2008-09 season.
