Arrow Amadeus Waterways Princess

The newest addition to the Amadeus fleet, Amadeus Princess will be completed in 2006, ready to take her first passengers along the Danube. She has been carefully designed to meet the same high standards as her sister ships as well as offer a few additional extras.

Factfile
Length: 110 metres
Breadth: 11.4 metres
Maiden voyage: 2006
Passenger capacity: 162
Officers and crew: 40
Passenger decks: 4
Lift: None
Approximate twin cabin size: 15 square metres

Once complete, Amadeus Princess will take the Amadeus class of ships a step further with a range of additional facilities including a walking track on Sun Deck and a small golf putting green. Amadeus Princess will have a Panorama Deck, a new area in front of the Panorama Bar where passengers can stay outside when passing beneath low bridges and through locks.

There will also be the Amadeus Club and a bar located at the stern of the ship, an even larger indoor fitness area called the Vital Club and larger windows with French balconies on Mozart and Strauss decks. Other amenities include a lounge, Sun Deck with deck chairs, Lido bar, hairdresser (extra charge) and library.

The ship also has a small fun pool, a large oval whirlpool, which, during the summer months when the water level of the Danube is low, may be emptied at certain times. As with all Amadeus ships, e-mail is available on board.

Cabins are spacious and well-equipped with a shower and wc, television where you can view the on-board camera, radio, telephone and hairdryer. Beds can be twin or double (double beds should be requested at the time of booking). Cabins on Haydn Deck have a small window.

Enjoy buffet breakfasts and four-course lunches and dinners where there is a choice of waiter served main courses. Evening entertainment includes local musicians and folklore bands.
