AidaBella - Keel laid at Meyer Werft
Second club ship keel laid at Meyer Werft shipyard. Continuing the series of ships for the German cruise ship company AIDA
At the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg the keel was laid today of AIDAbella, the second club ship out of a series of 4 for AIDA Cruises.
The traditional lucky penny was placed under the first of a total of 55 blocks, which weighs approx. 450 tons, is 32.2 m wide, 6.90 m high and 16 m long. The ship is being built under the yard number S. 666.
The AIDAbella is due for delivery in the spring of 2008. She will be followed by ship number 3 in 2009 and number 4 in 2010.
The ship's dimension is 68,500 gt.She will be able to accommodate a total of 2,050 passengers.
