AIDA names its second newbuild - AIDAbella
AIDA Cruises will call its second newbuild AIDAbella. The keel for the €315m ship will be laid on March 10 at Meyer Werft. Delivery is set for Spring 2008.
The 68,500gt AIDAbella will follow sister AIDAdiva, which is due to enter service the month after next. The first of a new class of four vessels, AIDAdiva will be named at an evening ceremony of opera and fireworks in Hamburg on April 20.
AIDA Cruises’ third and fourth newbuilds are set to emerge from Meyer Werft in 2009 and 2010.
