AidaBella floated out at Meyer Werft - Photos from Aida of their new ship
On February 24th, 2008 the new club ship of the cruise company AIDA Cruises left the building hall of the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg / Germany (www.meyerwerft.com).
In the early morning around 7 am AIDAbella made her first appearance and breathed fresh air for the first time. The undocking of the “Beautiful” ran absolutely smoothly. On the fitting-out-quay of the Meyer shipyard the remaining works on the ship will be finished. The Ems passage to Emden will be on 29 March 2008. On 23 April AIDAbella will be christened by top model Eva Padberg in Rostock-Warnemünde / Germany. (The Expected date of river Ems conveyance of AIDAbella would be 29 March 2008) AIDA Kreuzfahrten - Ostsee, Mittelmeer, Karibik und mehr auf einer Kreuzfahrt entdecken. AIDAbella

She is a beauty
 Diva's twin sister. I wouldn't mind cruising on one of these ships, at around 70k tons, they are midsize by today's standard and they really look superb
