Lightbulb From Asia to Cyprus: AIDA’s 2009/10 programme

Quote:
AIDA Cruises launches its ‘AIDAtime’ 2009/10 brochure today featuring six ships visiting 123 destinations and offering itineraries in Southeast Asia, North America, the Caribbean, Dubai, Canaries, West and East Med, North Europe and the Baltics.

Cruises on 2009 delivery, AIDAluna, can now be booked for the first time. The ship will leave Hamburg on March 22, 2009 on a 14-day maiden voyage to Palma de Mallorca where the official naming of AIDAluna will take place. The ship then departs April 5 for Hamburg to spend its first summer in the Baltic Sea.

From October 2009 to April 2010 AIDAcara will sail four 14-day cruises between Bangkok and Singapore. Two further 14-day trans-Asian voyages will take passengers to the Red Sea and the west coast of India. There are a total of 14 departure dates to choose from.

AIDAdiva will combine the Orient with India for the first time on two new routes. During a 10-day Christmas cruise and an 11-day New Year's cruise, AIDAdiva will be extending the Arabian route to Mumbai and Goa.

AIDAaura will follow in the footsteps of the Vikings from Hamburg to Iceland, then Greenland and finally New York on a trans-America route whilst AIDAcara and AIDAluna will offer 4-day mini-cruises in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea on 11 different departure dates between May and September 2009. Other mini-cruises are available in the programme on the AIDAvita and AIDAbella.
