Lightbulb AIDA Sails from Aruba

Quote:
The AIDAaura has made her first call at Aruba where she will be homeporting for her winter season. European passengers typically combine a land stay with a cruise, according to Kathleen Rojer, executive director of Aruba Cruise Tourism.

Also homeporting in Aruba is the sister ship, the AIDAvita. The two ships alternate with dsepartures every other Saturday.

On this special occasion of the first call by the AIDAaura, Miss Darline de Cuba of Aruba Cruise Tourism welcomed the Captain, staff, crew and cruise guests to Aruba on the behalf of the community.

Also present at a plaque ceremony was John Seraus of Aruba Ports Authority NV; Hans van Esveld of SEL Maduro & Sons;. Graceo Dunlock of SEL Maduro & Sons; and Mrs. Geraldine Keyter of De Palm Tours.
