If I remember rightly, Splendour didn't get to Corfu until lunchtime (more taxis for us!), and we just shared the dock with "The World" until she arrived and completely dwarfed us!
Have you seen the prices they are charging now on easycruise? Considering there's no flight it doesn't look a cheap option any more. The ship looked quite good though.
