Default Our Older Ships

Hi

I wonder how our 1947 British built paddle steamer Waverley and her running partner the 1949 built MV Balmoral will be affected by the solas 2010 regulations as they do go out to sea on day trips and not just remain on our rivers.

Waverley is the last sea going paddle steamer in the world !

We also have the 1924 built Kingswear Castle and the 1955 built Shieldhall running trips.

As these ships have no cabin accommodation the regulations may not apply to them.

Photos below of Waverley after her re-build completed in 2003 and Balmoral.
