We have arrived back from our cruise.
I have to say that of the cruise ships that I have been on, the QE2 is the most outstanding. It is such a shame that we were only on her for a few days and it's now too late to go on any other cruises with her.
The staff were so friendly, courteous and most of helpful. The ship itself has that majestic touch and a touch of class. She is certainly the leader in her class.
We visited to beautiful cities Rotterdam and Bruges. We had the fortune of watching Queen Victoria arrive in Zeebrugge. She does look grand.
When we left Rotterdam the harbour boats were out to give us a send off with their water sprays and all the other ships setting off their horns in a farewell salute. In Zeebrugge hundreds of people came out to wave the ship off. The QE2's final visit had been big news in Belgium.
I'll write up a full review shortly and post some picture later.
