I think there will always be formal nights on cruise ships Joey...even if they are not 'advertised' as such. Seasoned cruises and first timers alike will still dress up at least once or twice in a cruise...there are some traditions that won't go down without a fight
Those who wish to dress as they do at home...ie casually...well there are usually alternatives to the main diningroom to use
