The Mariner of the Seas offers passengers some very unique activities while onboard such as rock climbing, basketball on a full-length court, and believe it or not, ice skating! One very nice feature found on this ship is a pool lift! There are 25 accessible staterooms in a variety of categories. Deck 2 has all ocean view staterooms; 2620, 2624, 2628, 2320, 2324, 2328. Deck 6 has delux ocean view staterooms; 6600, 6604, 6300, 6304. Deck 7 also has delux ocean view; 7600, 7604, 7300, 7304. Deck 9 has inside numbers 9553, 9557, 9561 and 9337. Deck 10 has interior rooms 1535, 1637, 1337, 1301 and superior ocean view with adjoining suite numbers 1608 and 1308. All of the cabin and bathroom door widths are 32”. There are no sills and the toilet is 18.5” high (riser available upon request) with grab bars. They have roll-in showers available with grab bars, a fold down seat and hand held shower head. The sink height is 35” with knee clearance of 28.5”. Overall this is a nicely laid-out floor plan which enables good maneuverability.
Hearing impaired travelers may benefit from the use of an alert kit that can be provided for the alarm, phone and door and guests who are visually impaired will appreciate the audio floor indicators in the elevator as well as the use of Braille.
